Tame Impala is an Australian multi-instrumentalist music project of Kevin Parker. He writes, records, performs, and produces all the music. He works alongside numerous individual when he tours, but in the studio, it is all up to Kevin Parker. He chose to create a psychedelic rock project to experiment with synth-pop and neo-psychedelia. He’s currently signed to Interscope and Fiction Records.
The project was created in Perth in 2007. His debut album, Innerspeaker, would finally be released in 2010 and he would earn certified gold in Australia’s music industry. He would also receive critical acclaim. His latest album, The Slow Rush, would be released in 2020 on Valentine’s Day. He won five trophies at the 2020 ARIA Music Awards.
