Celine Tam is a singer who performed on the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent. She was born in Hong Kong, and she was named after the Canadian singer, Céline Dion. When she was only three years old, her father would help her with her vocal lessons, and she would begin to perform at events all over the world. She would make appearances at both national Chinese and American television performances, not to mention having won eight championships in a year.
She would compete on the 10th season of Britain’s Got Talent, but she wouldn't be aired on television due to not making it past to the live shows. She would also be featured on Little Big Shots with Jeffrey Li, after their duet of You Raise Me Up went viral in 2015. In China and Hong Kong, she is nicknamed “Little Giant Lung” for her amazing singing ability. Her father is a teacher and owner of a singing academy company in China, which is part of where her singing talents came from originally.
Despite getting to the semifinals performing a song from the Disney movie,Moana, Celine Tam did not make it past the quarterfinals. Heidi Klum gave her standing ovation, but she could not receive enough votes to get to the finals. She was eliminated from the competition, along with The Pompeyo Family. Even despite this, she continues to be a significant success, and one of the most notorious Hong Kong singers and a true young talent.
